I bought the material of Sapiens IAS which did a decent coverage of Paper 1 and a not so decent coverage for Paper 2. Those who have an inclination for biology, biotechnology and are reasonably good with few diagrams can definitely take anthro. Further, socio-cultural anthropology has been decently covered in Sapiens material. It has a relatively short syllabus and I was able to cover 80-85% of the syllabus in 45 days with remaining 30 days for revision.

So those with shortage of time, not wanting to risk with conventional subjects like public administration, sociology, geography can definitely choose this. Further, there is not much of research happening in the field and hence, the questions are reasonably static and predictable. Every aspect of the syllabus can be covered through a detailed study within 3 months.
