Jvc everio gz mg330 software download for mac. Unsubscribe from John Harris.

Just got a nice new JVC camcorder that will be just fine for what I need (filming basketball games and practices) BUT the good old software included is only for PCs (discriminatory or what!). What I was wanting to know from the wise people on this forum is whether I will be able to edit the footage that I download via iMovie 2010, or whether I will need some additional 3rd party software? If that is the case, any suggestions? Lastly, why won't JVC (or other manufacturers for that matter) do us a favour and include the software that makes life easier for us??? Thanks in advance. 2010 MacBook Pro 13', Mac OS X (10.6.6), Acer 21' Monitor; Brother Laser printer Posted on Mar 29, 2011 9:15 PM.

Hi, I work for JVC and would like to help. You have several good questions. Basically, with Apple, we figure you already have outstanding editing software on your computer, so there is no need to provide basic editing software on our part. What we do need to do is make sure your JVC will work with the software that comes with your computer-iMovie-and we do that. Simply connect the camcorder via USB, select 'Playback on PC' from your camcorder's USB menu, and launch iMovie.

From there it is very easy to select the video clips you wish to import. I should note that contrary to some other posts on this thread, if you have a GZ-HM330, you do not have a camcorder that records MPEG2 video with a.mod file extension-you have a high definition model that records AVCHD video with a.mts file extension. Not that it matters that much. IMovie '08, '09 & '11 will handle either format with equal ease. The only thing to be careful about is that with AVCHD (.mts), your Apple computer needs to have an Intel processor. Pretty much any Apple in the last 3 years qualifies.

I hope this is helpful. Chris Apr 6, 2011 10:54 PM. Apple Footer This site contains user submitted content, comments and opinions and is for informational purposes only. Expanded Product Features. This JVC GZ-MG330 video camera offers great satisfaction in a very small and light body.

This JVC Camcorder is easy to carry around without occupy much space in the bag. It can also be used for long continuous recording without making the user tired because the product is light. This JVC GZ-MG330 video camera has an internal 30GB hard disk drive which is expandable using the MicroSD slot. This Flash card camcorder sports a Konica Minolta Lens, a 35x optical zoom and a Laser touch Operation that is easy to navigate for the best user experience.

This JVC Camcorder delivers up to 37.5 hours of recording as a result of the in-built hard disk. The Flash card camcorder's picture quality is in four modes that range from high-quality video, to DVD Movie, and a small sized clip which is ideal for web viewing. It measures 4.4 x 2.1 x 2.7 inches and weighs 12.6 Oz. This JVC Camcorder has a built-in digital image stabilizer which compensates for 'camera-shake' while enabling stable camera image shooting. This Flash card camcorder is a class in itself. JVC Everio GZ-MG330 This camera was within my price range so it caught my eye immediately.

I was eyeing the 'flip' camera and the knock offs of that line of camera and I liked the price but the quality was lacking. Those cameras are very jerky and can't zoom in without grainy images and blur. You have to walk towards people like you are using your camera from your cell phone. What's worse is you can't take extended length videos, many of them cut you off after 10 minutes and create a new file. This camera on the other hand, looks and feels like a real camera. The zoom is amazing and crystal clear. It is the same basic size as a can of pepsi and it does everything I need for a real camera.

If was just putting videos up on youtube I guess the flip line would be ok, but I plan on recording family events as my ne wborn son grows and this is the camera for that. I know it isn't HD but it does take widescreen 480i quality pictures which is fine for me.

People get caught up in the '1080p' and don't realize they are getting a camera that won't work well for family or sporting events that have objects far away or need to have a steady hand to view. I couldn't be happier with the features and quality of this camera. Great Camcorder for any event! We previously had another JVC Camcorder with good success, so my brother needed a good inexpensive Camcorder and we bought this one for him. The deal was good so we turned around and bought another one (same Model & Color (-Blue).

Although the batteries that came with these Camcorders are only good for 1 1/2 hours, we bought 2 new 5hour batteries, battery chargers and usb cables it was well worth it. Takes crystal clear video and still pictures, and is user friendly, easily! JVC Everio GZ-MG330 Ok here 's my look at this product. I like it because it has a 30 gig built in memory hard drive plus one can add the MicroSD Card to it also for me that is more for shorter filming of something you wish to share with someone or let them copy it to their pc. The bigger stuff you record is better for the CD and tools u get to make your own DVD and share it with family members as we did with our daughters graduation this year in 2009,was great to have. The zoom is pretty good and when using it you have to do it slowly for the focus to catch up with the zooming. Battery life is good as long as you are shooting most of what you are doing with the standard battery in one time shooting or at least the same day.

Great Camcorder for the Price Pros: 30G hard drive, HiDef, resonably priced, quality Cons: Factory software is very limited, can only play, stop, and delete. No editing features at all. Good sound but sounds distant/muffled; battery life is good but not great. Summary: I very nice quality camcorder that is price competitively. I was going to buy a Flip Mino but for a few dollars more on ebay I could afford this camcorder. It is compact and fits in your pocket (you will have a bulge).

Overall, a good starting camcorder.
